Body to body massage in Amsterdam after a long gap
Some guests arrive having last been touched by anybody, in any way that counted, a very long time ago. After an illness, after a bereavement, after a marriage that finished, after years in which it simply never came up. There is nothing to explain and nobody is asking. What is worth thinking about in advance is length, pace and how much you want the first one to contain.
the long answer
The gap is more common than the absence of it
People imagine themselves as the unusual case, and by volume they are not. A stretch of years without physical contact is produced by entirely ordinary circumstances: work that swallowed a decade, an illness and its recovery, a long marriage that ended, a partner who died, a move to a city where nobody knows you, a period of poor health that made the whole subject feel remote. Nobody on the roster considers such a booking remarkable and nobody is going to ask what happened. The single practical consequence of a long gap is that the body has to be reintroduced to the situation slowly, and slowly is a setting rather than an obstacle.
What actually changes after years without it
Three things, none of them alarming. The first is that touch registers more strongly at the start than you will expect, which is a reason for lower pressure in the opening stretch rather than for anything else. The second is that the nervous system takes longer to drop; an hour that would settle someone in ten minutes may take twenty-five, which is an argument about length. The third is that people are sometimes surprised by their own reaction, which can be emotional rather than anything else and is entirely ordinary in the circumstances. None of those is a problem to be solved in advance. They are simply reasons to give the hour more room than you think it needs.
Ninety minutes rather than sixty
This is the one recommendation on the page. Sixty minutes is a real booking and it works, but it spends its first quarter on arrival, setting the room and settling, and a body that has been out of practice for years uses more of that quarter than most. Ninety leaves a genuine margin. Two hours is not excessive for a first return and a good many people find it the easier decision, because it removes the arithmetic from the experience altogether. The figures scale plainly: 180 euros for the hour, 270 for ninety minutes, 360 for two hours, and 540 for three, with anything past the third hour at 180.
Choosing a format, and the case for starting plain
Sensual work, which is hands and warm oil for the full length of the booking, asks the least of everyone and is the format most returns begin with. Oiled full contact is the natural next thing and needs nothing beyond towels and a stable surface. Tantra, led by breathing and pace, suits somebody who wants the slowest possible entry and asks for ninety minutes at a minimum, which fits this situation well. The gel and soapy formats add equipment, plumbing and a shower at the end, which are fine when you are comfortable and are extra things to manage when you are not. Nothing here is a sequence you are expected to work through, and booking the same simple thing repeatedly is a common pattern rather than a timid one.
Nobody is going to ask why
You can book without accounting for anything. If you want to write one line of context because it helps you to write it, that is read once and used to arrange the hour, and then it is arrangement detail like any other. If you would rather say nothing at all beyond where, when and how long, the booking works identically. The thread contains no questions about your circumstances and there is no point in it at which an explanation is expected. This is worth stating because guests in this position often draft long messages they never send, when four lines would have done the entire job.
How the opening is arranged for a slow start
Say in the thread that it has been a long time and the first stretch is set up accordingly. The single bedside lamp, with the ceiling fitting left off. A little more warmth than the room came with. A longer face-down opening along the back and legs with light, even pressure that only builds if you want it to. Fewer changes of position. No hurry towards anything, because the hour is the length you booked and nothing inside it is on a schedule. She states what her own session includes at the start, in her own words, and that stands for the visit, which for most guests in this position is the thing that lets them stop wondering and start paying attention to the actual hour.
If something surfaces during it
Occasionally somebody finds the experience affecting in a way they had not planned for. A pause happens, the work stops for a moment, and then it either resumes or it does not. Neither outcome is awkward and neither is a failure of anything. Say what you need at the time: slower, stop for a minute, keep going, talk to me, do not talk to me. A session that ends early keeps the fee for the reserved time, since those hours were held and the journey made, and nothing beyond that is added. That is a rule about scheduling rather than a judgement about anybody, and it applies exactly the same way whoever ends the visit and for whatever reason.
Booking it, in four lines
The address and the kind of building. The hour and the length, with ninety minutes as the sensible default. The format, or a note that you would like it kept simple. And anything about your body or the room that the hour should be arranged around, including the fact of the gap itself if you want it known. Name the woman you want from the roster; the reply tells you whether her hours have room at the time you asked for, and if they do not, it says so and stops. No substitute is offered in her stead. Everyone involved at either end of this is twenty-one or over.
The deposit, the notice scale and arrival
Half of the applicable figure confirms nearly every booking before she leaves, and a first booking with the house is always one of those, whatever its hour or length. The narrow exception is a returning guest asking for an hour or two the same day at a city address, which is settled in full on arrival. Two therapists on one guest come to 360 an hour between them, a couple with one therapist to 360 and with one each to 720, and the eight hour block is 1,250 euros for one guest. If you need to cancel, the notice is the only thing that decides the cost: more than a day ahead and the deposit is returned whole, inside the final day but before she has left and half of it stays, once she is on her way and it stays in full. Two things soften even that last one. If another guest takes the released hour the deposit is repaid entirely, and if the real loss was smaller than the amount kept, only that smaller amount is kept. Where no deposit was taken, nothing is owed until she sets out and only the journey share after. Nothing is ever pursued as damages, one change of date within a fortnight is free where it is asked more than a day ahead, and arrival across central Amsterdam runs forty to sixty minutes from the moment the hour is agreed, with a Schiphol room arranged separately once the journey time is settled.

Say which door she is coming to
Give the building or the district, the hour you want her there and how long for. Anything about your own body that changes how the room should be set goes in the same message, and it is read as a practical note rather than as an apology.
